Visual Arts - Track 1
Gussie Marshallsea Website eMail: [email protected] It is great to be back at Olive Chapel. I came to OCE from Ohio with my family. We moved from Australia to Ohio in 1999. I have teaching experience in Australia, Ohio, and Texas at the elementary, middle and high school levels. My favourite, of course, is the elementary level. It is truly a pleasure to teach your children! I have lived in numerous countries around the world, as a child and adult. I have enjoyed extensive travels around the globe. It is a joy to teach your child about many different countries and their cultures. I am a North Carolina A+ Fellow and serve on the Board for Arts Access in Raleigh. I am very passionate about the arts and know that it is here where the students can make connections and be successful, while learning to be creative and critical thinkers. I enjoy painting, illustrating, sewing, cooking, and reading. I also enjoy the outdoors, but my greatest passion is teaching. |

Physical Education - Track 2
Dianne Vetter Website eMail: [email protected] I have enjoyed being a part of this wonderful OCE family for the past 7 years. I am a National Board Certified Physical Education teacher who earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State College in NH. My goal is to help students become healthy, active, lifelong learners through maximum participation in a safe, caring, 21st century learning environment. As a believer that parental and community involvement are key in a child’s education, I encourage communication and collaboration with parents. I often plan special events to create opportunities to build community. I strive to encourage students to think critically and take responsibility for their learning. My frequent collaboration with teachers allows me to integrate grade level academics and technology into PE lessons. As an athlete, I love to engage in just about any physical activity. My favorite hobbies are spending time with my two children, yoga, coaching karate and taking photos with my iPhone. |
